Welcome to Cambrian Mountain Retreats – a tranquil oasis where you have the space and freedom to explore the deep questions of life, reflect on your own journey and find joy in the moment. Whilst we come from a Christian tradition, we welcome people of all faiths and none.
Bron y Llys is a small retreat house and B&B with just 3 bedrooms and a log cabin, sleeping 8 people. This means that we can offer you a very personal service and be available if you wish to talk or pray.
This is a wild place with wonderful walks and breathtaking vistas and we are particularly interested in the way landscape and wildness can help reconnect us with our innermost being.
It is deeply tranquil here with the only sounds being birdsong and the wind in the trees. At night, with no light pollution, you can see countless stars and the sweep of the Milky Way.
We offer some organised retreats (see below) but you are welcome to come at any time, as an individual or a small group, to use the facilities for a day or for longer. We can cater for groups of 10 on a day use basis and up to 8 people for overnight stays.

There are 3 bedrooms with super king size beds (can be twins if required) and ensuite or private facilities. One has its own separate entrance in the courtyard, making it perfect for silent retreats.
They are simply furnished but with luxuriously comfortable beds, fine cotton bed linen, dressing gowns, slippers, powerful showers and huge fluffy towels. We feel that being on retreat need not be uncomfortable!
Our cosy log cabin can also sleep two and has glorious views of the hills.
